Blaze is a special girl. She was finished as a Bred-By Champion, always breeder/owner handled by my mother, Mary, my friend and co-owner/breeder Sissie, and myself. Blaze is also special as she is co-owned with our good friends Sissie Klein (Majical) and Rob Meerdink (Little Dutch). After we met Blaze at 9 weeks, we fell in love and had to keep her. It wasn't our original plan, but she's so typey and perfect in every way, we couldn't stand to let her go. She has a perfect front and rear, beautiful spring of rib and is slightly longer than tall. Her face has dark and expressive eyes, and she moves and carries herself beautifully. She was a stinker to lead train, refused to walk anywhere with a lead around her neck for the first several months. In fact, my mom ended up showing her as she could get Blaze to walk when I couldn't. However, after she decided she could still be the boss with a lead on, she never looked back. She finished with a 3-pt and 4-pt major in the same show cluster (Kansas City, MO) against professionals with the confidence and happiness we love to see in a Havanese. Blaze finished at just under a year old.
